CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra is excited to announce the return of the Make ME the Maestro fundraiser. Over the next six weeks, four notable community members will compete for votes through donations on behalf of the CSO, according to a press release by the organization.
“The one who raises the most will have an opportunity they will likely never forget: Maestro for one piece of their choosing at our holiday concert in December,” Maestro Intriligator, CSO music director and conductor, stated.
Make ME The Maestro Candidates
Bria Hammock: A local Cheyenne artist, entrepreneur, graphic designer and creative director with a deep love for the West and the outdoors. Bria has lived in Cheyenne for 15 years and specializes in contemporary wildlife paintings. She owns Westward in downtown Cheyenne and leads creative projects for a travel and tourism marketing agency.
Lindi Kirkbride: A retired rancher, consultant and dedicated community leader with a background in grassroots organizing. Lindi holds a degree in social work from the University of Wyoming and has contributed to various community organizations, including CASA of Laramie County. She is involved in advocacy work for the AARP of Wyoming and the Wyoming Children’s Society, and volunteers for the Boys & Girls Club Teen Garden.
Jess Ryan: A certified financial planner practitioner and accredited investment fiduciary with the Compass Wealth Group. A fifth-generation Wyoming native and University of Wyoming graduate, Jess is an active volunteer and serves as Chair of the Cheyenne Chamber Business Council. His past contributions include serving on the Steering Committee for Leadership Cheyenne and the board of CASA of Laramie County.
Dr. Roger Smalley: A retired U.S. Naval Reserve commander and retired professor of marketing. Roger studied music at Southern Illinois University and was a member of the St. Louis Symphony Chorus for many years. He and his wife recently relocated from Illinois to Cheyenne to be closer to family and have become active members of their church, St. Mark’s Episcopal.

CSO will announce the 2024 Make ME The Maestro inductee at the 66th Annual Gala on Saturday, Sept. 14. Visit the CSO’s website to purchase tickets for the Gala. The top fundraising candidate will join CSO on stage to conduct their selected piece at the Holiday Magic concert on Dec. 14. Tickets for Holiday Magic will go on sale on Aug. 15.
