CHEYENNE, Wyo.– The entire cast lineup has been officially announced for the new “Joe Pickett” TV series, which is under development by Spectrum Entertainment with Paramount Television Studios and Red Wagon Entertainment.

According to Deadline, Michael Dorman, who plays the title character, will be joined by regulars David Alan Grier, Julianna Guill, Sharon Lawrence, Mustafa Speaks, Paul Sparks, Skywalker Hughes and Kamryn Pliva.

The hour-long series will follow game warden Joe Pickett and his family in a “small rural town in Wyoming,” according to Deadline.

“We’re not involved with the casting but overall we’re thrilled by it,” said Box on his Twitter account yesterday.

“Congratulations to you all and welcome to Joe Pickett’s world,” he said in another Tweet tagging the cast members. “I can’t wait to see what you bring to it.”

The new series follows the successful adaptation of Box’s books in the ABC Television drama “Big Sky,” which premiered last year.

The series will be shot in Calgary, Canada, and is set to start production “in the first quarter of 2021,” according to the Calgary Herald.
