CHEYENNE, Wyo. — School projects showcasing how artwork forms connections with people are now on display throughout the Laramie County Library.
“Art Connects” is an art show that aims to “get people thinking about how art creates connections,” said Jesse Dorst, manager of community & media relations with Laramie County Library. Students ranging from elementary to high school have contributed to the show. Projects include paintings of landscapes, 3D animals, papier-mâché, fictional book covers and clay faces.
Students’ creations have been available to view on all three floors of the library since March 16 and will continue to be on display until April 29, according to the library’s April list of events. Laramie County Library typically hosts two art shows per year, Dorst said. Earlier this year, the facility held its Elementary School Art Show.
