CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne Frontier Days has announced that due to a bot attack on its ticketing platform, the on-sale date for the event has been postponed.

That’s according to a social media post from the CFD, which states that the organization wanted to “be transparent about an unprecedented issue” with its ticketing partner, AXS.

“Unfortunately, a bot attack disrupted the ticket buying processes on the AXS platform, preventing a fair and smooth experience for ticket buyers,” the post states.

Cheyenne Frontier Days wants to ensure that everybody has an equal opportunity to buy tickets, so it is postponing ticket sales to Monday, March 17 at 9 a.m.

“The AXS team is actively reinforcing measures to protect against automated purchases and ensure a fair buying process,” the post states. “We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to provide a seamless experience for all ticket buyers. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you at the 129th Daddy of ‘em All.”
