CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A commercial structure fire broke out Wednesday morning in the area of Nationway and Hot Springs Avenue, causing significant smoke that spread to the far north part of Cheyenne. Firefighters are on the scene, urging residents to avoid the area while crews work to contain the blaze.

The smoke from the fire poses a severe health risk. According to Cheyenne Firefighters on Facebook, “Smoke from structure fires is highly toxic; attempt to isolate from the outside air.” Residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed and to use air purifiers if available.
