CHEYENNE, Wyo. — An organic food chain will soon be opening its first Wyoming location in Cheyenne. In preparation of the store’s grand opening, the company is looking for local job-seekers to fulfill positions for the new location.
Job-seekers can get an on-the-spot interview with Sprouts Farmers Market during a job fair Wednesday and Thursday at Little America Hotel & Resort, 2800 Lincolnway. Fair hours are as follows:
- Wednesday, Oct. 9: 8–11:30 a.m. and 1–5:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 10: 8–11:30 a.m. and 1–4:30 p.m.
Those interested in attending the event have plenty of positions to choose from, including leadership roles in the store’s front end and in the bakery, deli, meat, produce and vitamin departments. The company offers competitive pay based on the position and the worker’s experience. The company is looking to hire around 80 people for the upcoming location at 5214 Rue Terre.
Position start dates will begin sometime in mid-October to mid-November, according to Frank Santos, regional talent acquisition manager for the southwest region. The store will officially open to the public at 7 a.m. Nov. 22. Daily store hours will be 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sprouts specializes in providing customers with an assortment of local, organic and seasonal produce. The grocer offers products to individuals with specific dietary needs, such as foods that are gluten-free, plant-based, regenerative or grass-fed.
