CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Rows of cars made their way onto F.E. Warren Air Force Base this morning, July 27, to find the best seats for the Wings Over Warren Air Show.

Though the morning was cloudy, spirits were high for those who attended. Several helicopters were on display and attendees lined up to check them out before the show.

Yet, as time went on, two acts were canceled: the Wings of Blue jumpers and the B-1 Lancer fly-by. There was still hope for a clear sky for the show, and that’s exactly what happened.

As crowds watched on, the A-10 and Hueys flew through the sky, displaying the capabilities of the U.S. Air Force.

It was after this that six young men and women were sworn in by Thunderbird #12 Capt. Kaity Toner. After the ceremony, the Thunderbirds made their grand entrance.
