CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne Frontier Days, “The Daddy of ‘Em All,” continues today with a Grand Parade this morning and Give Cancer The Boot.

The Grand Parade will begin at 9 a.m. in front of the Wyoming Capitol and will last for about an hour. The parade follows the route as seen below:

Give Cancer The Boot, or Pink Day, means there will be lots of pink at the park. The Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative and Cheyenne Frontier Days co-host the event for all cancer survivors. Cancer survivors are treated with a free lunch and free rodeo tickets for themselves and guests.

The Challenge Rodeo continues today at 11:30 a.m. in the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo Arena. Each of the 60 Challenge Rodeo children are paired up with a volunteer buddy. They share one-on-one attention with their buddy and a rodeo VIP while participating in modified events.

Assisting the children are PRCA cowboys, clowns, barrel racers, Dandies, committee chairmen and others. Events include eight-second bull rides, barrel racing, steer roping and more.
