CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne Frontier Days offers a plethora of engaging events for both local residents and visiting tourists.
The fairgrounds will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily.
Here is the schedule of events for Friday, July 19:
Frontier Park Arena
At 8 p.m., Turnpike Troubadours, with special guest The Red Clay Strays, will perform at the Frontier Park Arena.
Carnival
The Cheyenne Frontier Days Exhibit Hall, shopping area, carnival and food court will open at 10:30 a.m. alongside the campgrounds. These attractions will be situated in the midway section of the Cheyenne Frontier Days event grounds.
Buckin’ A Saloon
Located on the midway, Buckin’ A Saloon will open at 4 p.m., featuring live music and dancing.
The Garden
Opening at 11 a.m., The Garden offers a shaded retreat with live music from 3-8 p.m., providing a relaxing atmosphere where attendees can enjoy beverages.
Native American Indian Village
Explore and experience Native American culture through costumes, music, dance, stories and crafts at the Native American Indian Village, an educational exhibit.
Old Frontier Town
Celebrate Cheyenne’s Western heritage at Old Frontier Town, featuring games, crafts, educational activities, artisans, the Sidewinder Saloon and a petting zoo.
Old Frontier Town opens at 10:30 a.m. and closes at 8 p.m. The Sidewinder Saloon will open at 10 a.m.
Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum
The museum showcases the extensive history of Cheyenne Frontier Days and its significance in Western culture, and will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Off-Park Events
Fort D.A. Russell Days is a three-day event at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. coinciding with Cheyenne Frontier Days.
The BLM Wild Horse & Burro Program is held in Lions Park from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
