CASPER, Wyo. — Portions of I-80 and I-25 were closed to “light, high profile vehicles” on Monday evening but open to other traffic.
I-25 is open to all traffic on Tuesday, Dec. 3, but I-80 between Laramie and Elk Mountain remains closed to “light, high profile vehicles due to gusting winds,” according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
Both US 30 and 287 between Laramie and Medicine Bow are similarly closed to light, high profile vehicles.
WY 77 near Shirley Basin is closed to all traffic due to winter conditions.
Black ice and extreme blow over risk advisories are in effect on some highways throughout the state.
