CASPER, Wyo. — A couple rescued three puppies they found while snowmobiling in Utah on Sunday, Dec. 1.
“On Sunday afternoon Search & Rescue was up at the Monte Cristo trailhead getting ready for the winter season with the new snow that had fallen over Thanksgiving,” Weber County Sheriff’s Office said on Sunday. “Utah State Parks was in the area as well and advised that Kat Perry and Cory Holt were looking for help with some stranded Great Pyrenees puppies that they had found while snowmobiling in the Ant Flat area.”
“Search & Rescue was able to assist by responding with a rescue sled and helping Kat and Cory with rescuing the puppies.”
The couple told Fox 13 in Salt Lake City that the puppies had been taking cover in a sheep’s carcass.
“Kat has already made plans with the Hope’s Rescue group to find good homes for the puppies,” the Weber County Sheriff’s Office added.
