CASPER, Wyo. — Light snow may impact the I-80 corridor across Wyoming on Thursday, Dec. 5, particularly between Cheyenne and Rawlins.
“A weak Pacific system will push across Colorado today,” the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says. “The northern fringe of this system will bring some light snow to mainly the Interstate 80 corridor from Rawlins to Cheyenne, with a mix of rain and snow near the Nebraska border.”
Impacts to travel are expected to be minimal.
“A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for southern Carbon county, including the town of Baggs and the Sierra Madre Range, until 5 PM this afternoon,” the NWS adds. “Warmer temperatures are expected this weekend, but winds will increase on Saturday.”
