CASPER, Wyo. — Cheyenne South High Bison and junior Bison recently racked up a number of awards at a “Fear Film Fest.”
The festival was organized by the Cheyenne Youth Short Film Festival and featured suspense and thriller-style short films.
Awards were presented on Nov. 16.
“Bison broadcasting took home three awards for best use of required item, best art direction and cinematography,” Laramie County School District No. 1 said on Thursday, Dec. 5. “The junior Bison received awards for best editing, best screenplay, best actor and best picture.”
Awards were handed out to these films and individuals in the following categories:
- Best Art Direction: The Ghost of Room 157
- Best Cinematography: The Ghost of Room 157
- Best Editing: Static
- Best Screenplay: Static
- Best Actor: Tyler Hughes – “Static”
- Best Actress: JoLynn Paulsen – “Unwarming Welcome”
- Second Place: Unwarming Welcome
- Best Picture: Static
