City of Cheyenne announces Christmas tree drop off instructions

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The City of Cheyenne has offered information for people wondering what to do with their natural Christmas tree now that the holiday season has passed.

The city says that residents can bring their natural tree to the City’s Compost Facility, located at 3714 Windmill Rd., and drop it off at no charge. The facility will be open (holiday closures excluded) between 9 a.m – 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The announcement says that for residents who are dropping off their tree after business hours that there will be a large roll off container outside of the front gate.

The city asks that if you are planning on dropping off a tree to make sure that you remove all the decorations from it.
