CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The City of Cheyenne is saying “farewell” to Judge Mark Moran after serving as a Municipal Judge for Cheyenne for the past twenty years.

Judge Moran was appointed Senior Municipal Judge in 2015 by former mayor Rick Kaysen. Prior to that he served as Cheyenne’s Junior Municipal Judge starting in 1999.

In a released statement, current mayor Marian Orr said “Judge Moran is not only a fine judge, but one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I have come to know. He has been a true public servant, making himself available at any time of the day or night, weekend or holiday, and considered it his honor. I thank him for his service and wish him good health and happiness in his retirement.”

Judge Moran has served five mayors: Gary Schaeffer, Leo Pando, Jack Spiker, Rick Kaysen, and Marian Orr.

His retirement is effective December 31st.
