Two face felony drug, Child Endangerment charges after DCI search

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Two people are facing multiple felony drug charges and one charge of felony Child Endangerment after, the pair were arrested at a residence in Cheyenne. This according to paperwork filed in the Laramie County Circuit Court.

The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation reports that Tiffany Sonneland and Paul Brumage were arrested on the evening of Thursday, December 26th, 2019. Each faces charges of  Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine; Possession of Methamphetamine; Conspiracy to Manufacture, Deliver or Possess Methamphetamine; as well as a felony count of Child Endangerment.

DCI officials say that the pair were arrested after a search warrant was executed on a home on the 2000 block of Maxwell Avenue, in Cheyenne.

According to an affidavit filed in Laramie County Circuit Court, during the search of the premises agents observed items suspected of methamphetamine use, in a bedroom of the residence.

Court documents say once those items were observed, deputies then applied for, and were granted a second search warrant to search for evidence of drug distribution.

Upon a further search of the house, two bags of a crystalline substance were discovered. The report says that that the substance was suspected to be methamphetamine. 

The affidavit describes the approximate weight of the suspected methamphetamine and packaging at approximately 47.6 grams.  

Court records indicate that law enforcement officials report that a two minor children were inside the residence at the time of the arrest.

The affidavit says that the two children were placed in safe custody.  

The pair made their initial court appearances on Friday, December 27th and were each given a bond of $25,000.

All of those cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filings from the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office.
