A Montana teen has been reported missing since Jan. 1.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation issued a “BOLO” alert on Wednesday, Jan. 8 asking people to “be on the lookout” for Selena Shelley Faye Not Afraid.
Not Afraid was last seen around 2 pm, Jan. 1 at an eastbound rest area along I-90 between Billings and Hardin.
“Selena left a disabled vehicle at the rest area on foot walking into an adjacent field to the rest area,” according to a Montana Missing and Endangered Person Advisory.
The BOLO alert states that her direction of travel is unknown, though Not Afraid may be in Montana’s Big Horn, Yellowstone, Rosebud or Treasure Counties.
She was reported as being possibly intoxicated and not dressed for the weather conditions at the time she was last seen.
Not Afraid is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 133 pounds. She was last seen wearing:
- a black coat
- grey sweater
- blue jeans
- grey ankle boots
Not Afraid has a scar near her mouth and a tattoo of a cross on one of her middle fingers, the alert adds.
