City updates public on $1.7 million Dry Creek Sewer Main Project

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The City of Cheyenne has issued an update on the status of the Dry Creek Sewer Main Project that they say is set to begin in February.

The City says the aim rehibilitation project is to clean and to then install a sewer pipe liner. The release goes on to say that they intend on rehibilitating over 1.3 miles of sewer lines along Dry Creek from Yellowstone Rd. to Powderhouse. Rd.

“This project will advance sewer service reliability for the area and is part of the Board’s initiative to accelerate the renewal of sewer infrastructure. Sewer services should not be affected by the project. Most of this $1.7 million sewer main rehabilitation project will occur next to the greenway but access to the greenway will remain open for the duration of the project,” the City said.

According to the City the last remaining section is from Seminoe Rd. to Yellowstone Rd. along Dry Creek and completion is slated for the end of February.
