CASPER, Wyo. — A man wanted in connection with a November gas station robbery in Casper, was arrested in Buffalo, New York according to Casper Police officials.
19-year-old Billy Liska was reportedly arrested on January 17, in the city of Buffalo, New York on charges of Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault, in relation to the Casper robbery.
The incident took place at a gas station located on the 1200 block of East 12th Street in Casper around 5:00pm on Friday, November 22, 2019.
Police say Liska was identified as a suspect in the case by using surveillance footage.
Also identified as wanted in the case is 18-year-old Jasmine Atkins.
“After further investigation into the November robbery, Detectives submitted a warrant for Jasmine Atkins who is suspected of being involved,” Casper Police Department officials said in a written statement to Oil City. Atkins was recently featured as part of the Casper PD’s Warrant Watch, in conjunction with Crime Stoppers.
The case remains under investigation at this time.
