The event will take place on Saturday, March 21st, 2020, from 6 pm to 9pm at the Cheyenne Botanical Gardens, located in Lions Park.

Organizers of the Filter Build says that the event will feature an evening of live music, keynote speakers, wine tasting, food, activities for kids, and information on how people can save water this summer in their own gardens.

The cost of the event is $50 and it will cover a ticket to the event, where those in attendance can build a 10 piece filter that supports 10 people for 10 years with a personal note.

“Last year, at the 1st ever Cheyenne Filter Build, we surpassed our goal and raised over $12,500, which built over 250 water filters,” said founder of Cheyenne Filter Build, Clay Hess. “Each water filter provides clean water for 10 people for 10 years. That’s 2,500 people who will be given access to clean water for 10 years. Cheyenne made a big impact and this year we plan to make an even bigger one!”
