CHEYENNE, Wyo. Mayor Marian Orr is reiterating the importance of agricultural retail stores to our food supply.
According to the City of Cheyenne these comments come in response to criticism of local agricultural stores that are remaining open during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Local farmers and ranchers utilize these specific retailers for equipment and supplies not available elsewhere. In these challenging and unprecedented times, access to these resources are needed for the viability of our food supply and the sustained health and well-being of our community,” the city said in a release sent out to the media.
