CASPER, Wyo. — Less than an hour after delays from a Tuesday afternoon crash on I-80 near Elk Mountain in Wyoming began to ease, the Wyoming Department of Transportation reported another crash five miles away.
WYDOT reported the second crash at 4:08 pm Tuesday, June 30 at milepost 247. The crash blocked left lane traffic headed eastbound. WYDOT said that drivers should expect delays.
An earlier crash was reported at 2:10 pm Tuesday at milepost 252. That crash initially blocked all eastbound lanes. WYDOT reported that crash had been cleared and that delays were easing at 3:35 pm.
