CHEYENNE, Wyo. – According to Mayor Marian Orr, starting on Nov 11th daily commercial air service will resume between Cheyenne and Denver International Airport.
Orr said via a Facebook post that these flights would be in partnership with United operating as SkyWest. More details to come.
“Thank you to all who made this happen! I’ve been informed booking directly with United.com is the best way to get the lowest price, and round trip is currently under $100,” Orr said in her statement on social media.
“This is a wonderful restoration of our freedom to enjoy the convenience of flying from home. And it’s just in time for the holidays. It’s also a validation of the fact that, for 18 months after opening the new terminal, Cheyenne had the fastest-growing small airport in the country. The people supported and showed they truly want air service here.” Wendy Volk, president of the Cheyenne Regional Air Focus Team said in a news release.
