Public asked to help locate missing Colorado boy last seen near Wyoming border

On September 29, 2020, at approximately 9:15 p.m., officials with the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado say they were notified about a missing child in northern Larimer County. 

Deputies, investigators, and Larimer County Search and Rescue responded and have been searching for the child since.

Investigators learned 12-year-old Hunter Denny left home yesterday around 3:00 p.m. after a disagreement with his family.  When Hunter did not return home after a while, his family began searching for him and then called LCSO.

According to Larimer County law enforcement, Hunter was last seen near his home in the area of Pristine Pines Lane and Deer Springs Lane west of Red Mountain Open Space in Livermore close to the Wyoming border. 

Hunter is 5’00 tall, weighs about 100 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a tan Carhartt jacket, a red baseball cap, and possibly a green t-shirt.  A photo is attached.

No foul play is suspected at this time.
