The Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board has announced that the Historic Airport Fountain will be turned on for Saturday, October 10th Cruise Night.
The Historic Airport Fountain is located near the intersection of Warren Ave. and E. 8th Ave.
“With Phase I of the Historic Fountain restoration nearly complete, this represents a great opportunity to celebrate the preservation work thus far,” the City said via media release.
Additionally, the Historic Preservation Board says it will be selling limited-edition Christmas ornaments for $20.00 at the cruise parking lot. The 2020 ornaments depict the Cheyenne Union Pacific Depot with a Big Boy Steam Engine.
All proceeds from ornament sales go to future phases of the restoration of the Airport Fountain.
