Cheyenne’s Black Dog Rescue announces it received nearly $30k in donations on Giving Tuesday

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Officials with Black Dog Rescue in Cheyenne say that their organizations received almost $30,000 in donations on Giving Tuesday this week.

“The numbers are in and, once again, you all have gone above and beyond! For #GivingTuesday, you donated $17,460 from 228 donors. Thank you! 💜This brings our total with the sponsors matching fund to $29,460,” Black Dog Rescue stated on Facebook on December 2nd, 2020.

According to their website, Black Dog Rescue’s mission is to promote, provide and advocate for the needs of companion animals in the Cheyenne area.

“We are constantly humbled by your support. We cannot wait to put these funds to work and continue to help the pets and people in our community,” Black Dog officials stated.

The organization went on to especially thank their our annual sponsors; Taco Johns, Charles Schwab, Jonah Bank, Magpul, and Blue FCU.

“And shout out to Black Hills Energy for their end of the day gift that skyrocketed us beyond our goal. Onward to 2021!”
