The Laramie County Sheriff’s Department went on Facebook today to remind residents in the community to secure their firearms.
Officials with the LCSO stated that they have responded to two separate cases lately where weapons have been stolen.
“Owning a firearm is a huge responsibility—and requires thoughtful consideration in regards to use and storage,” the LCSO posted.
Officials went on to say that there are multiple options available for safely storing and securing your firearms when not in use. “Please remember gun safety and responsibility,” the LCSO advised.
