CASPER, Wyo —While applications don’t open until January 3, hunters planning for the 2022 season can take the first required step today: setting up a Wyoming Game and Fish Department user account. It is required for anyone who wants to make a purchase or apply for a license, Game and Fish said Monday.
To help, Game and Fish has a video with each step of the process for current customers who have made purchases or applications in the past as well as a video for brand new customers with no purchase history. Step-by-step written instructions are also available.
The Game and Fish user account serves as a dashboard for information specific to the customer. Each customer will need to create their own user account. Previous account information will be automatically linked for returning customers,
“Anyone who needs extra help can call our telephone information center at (307) 777-4600 and talk to a person who can guide them through this change,” said Jennifer Doering, license section manager.
Those who have already created accounts are encouraged to use this opportunity to ensure they have retained their usernames and passwords.
