CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Local nonprofits may soon be able to get a financial boost from the United Way of Laramie County.
The organization announced in a news release Wednesday morning that it was opening its application process for its 2023-25 Collaboration Grants to all Cheyenne and Laramie County nonprofits that fit eligibility requirements.
A total of $750,000 worth of grants will be awarded, with applications to be selected by the United Way Board of Directors, the City of Cheyenne and Laramie County governing bodies following a “competitive application process,” per the release.
“This application process represents how United Way of Laramie County, the City of Cheyenne and Laramie County add value to the community and fulfill our mission to unite people and agencies in Laramie County to build a stronger community and strategically invest in education, economic mobility, and health priorities to improve lives now and into the future,” United Way noted in its release.
