CHEYENNE, Wyo. — On June 11 and 12, the city of Cheyenne held its 17th Annual Celtic Festival and Highland Games.
The Celtic Festival is an opportunity to celebrate the culture of Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. There were many different vendors who came to sell some amazing jewelry and other wares. Musicians came to tell stories of the Emerald Isle and the highlands, bringing the poetry and song of the Celts to life.
There was also the Celtic Bison Classic, Cheyenne’s highland games. Men and women showed off feats of strength in a variety of games including the caber toss, stone put, and Scottish hammer throw.
