CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Following a brief closure, the Johnson Swimming Pool is expected to reopen for normal business Saturday.
The pool, located at 303 E. 8th St., has been closed since Tuesday due to a water leak in the pump control room, per a City of Cheyenne news release earlier this week.
As of Thursday, the city’s aquatics maintenance technician is “working to regulate water temperature and chemical levels to their usual values for patron safety,” per a city news release.
Once reopened, the pool will be open for lap swim from 11 a.m. to noon and rec swim from noon to 2 p.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. The facility will remain closed on Mondays.
