CHEYENNE, Wyo. — These are the events happening in Cheyenne this weekend!

  • Singer and songwriter Rozzi will be performing at Fridays on the Plaza with Holdfast on Aug. 12 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
  • Jim Wilkinson will be performing at Black Tooth Brewing, 520 W. 19th St., from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 12. This event is free to the public.
  • The Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne will be hosting its Back to School Bash at 515 W. Jefferson Road on Aug. 13. Come from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to take advantage of backpacks filled with school supplies; haircuts; school physicals; teeth cleanings; and supplies, food, and drinks!
  • The Bunkhouse Bar and Grill at 1064 Happy Jack Road will be having live music from the Danny Derail Band from 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 13.
  • Come to the Laramie County Library on Aug. 13 for the Dogust Adoption Event with the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. Meet all the adoptable pets from 10 a.m. to noon. Adoption fees are 50% off.
  • Join in the 3rd Annual Foamy Fountain Festival on Aug. 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 255 Storey Blvd. Bubbles will be thrown into the fountain and there will be summer- and water-themed activities.
  • See the beauty of the Cowboy State with the Greet the Dawn Hike at Curt Gowdy State Park Visitor Center from 6 to 7 a.m. Please note that a day-use pass must be paid to be in the park.
  • Bring your child to Kindermusik at the Laramie County Library from 10:15 to 11 a.m. on Aug. 13. Sing, sway, laugh, and play with skilled educator Laura Sutton.
  • Come meet the adoptable pets from Black Dog Animal Rescue on Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Laramie County Library.
