CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Due to Emergency Vehicle Operations training being briefly held by the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office, Archer Parkway will be closed to most traffic for a portion of Wednesday afternoon.

The sheriff’s office noted in a Facebook post that traffic going north and south through Archer Parkway will be diverted through the Event Center parking area from 1 to 5 p.m. as training is held. The parkway will be closed from north of Field Station Road south to Prairie Center Circle, while Prairie Center Circle will also be closed on the west side of the Archer area, per the department.

Access to the equestrian area and motocross track will be limited, but traffic will still be permitted to access the County Planning and Coroner’s offices as well as the Emergency Management building.

More information is available on the department’s social media post.
