CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne should see some sunny weather despite the smoke from a distant wildfire, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
Today, Sept. 12, is predicted to be sunny with a high of 84, and 10–15 mph winds will come from the west before shifting north-northeast in the afternoon. This evening will be clear with a low of 48 and areas of smoke. Winds will be northeast at 5–15 mph before becoming northwest after midnight.
After a taste of fall the last few days, expect summer weather to return for the week ahead.

There will be areas of smoke before noon on Tuesday, Sept. 13, which is expected to be sunny with a high of 83. Winds will come from the west at 5–10 mph before shifting south-southeast at higher speeds of 10–15 mph. There is the possibility of wind gusts as high as 25 mph. The evening will be mostly cloudy with a low of 53. Winds will be south-southeast before becoming west after midnight at 5–15 mph, with possible gusts of 25 mph.
