CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Here are the latest events taking place this weekend.

  • Come to the Laramie County Library for an early literacy class on Friday, Sept. 23, from 10:15 to 11 a.m. Enjoy songs, books, and rhymes!
  • Blue Raven Brewing on 209 E. 18th St. will be hosting the classic rock, country, and bluegrass band Eclectic Cause on Friday, Sept. 23, from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Jim Wilkinson will be performing classic and modern country hits at Black Tooth Brewing Co., 520 W. 19th St. He will be playing from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23.
  • Check out semi-pro kite flyers at the 6th Annual End of the Trail Kite Festival at the Pine Bluffs Recreation Center, 1200 S. Beech. Kite Fliers from the American Kitefliers Association and the Rocky Mountain Kite Association will be present, and kites will be given to the first 100 kids ages 14 and younger.   • Blue Raven Brewery, 209 E. 18th St., will be hosting a Charity Chili Cookoff, Cornhole Tournament, and more on Saturday, Sept 24, from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. There will be various raffles and auctions throughout the day as well as live music.
  • Saturday, Sept. 24 is Community Appreciation Day in Cheyenne! The city has planned a full day of events for all community members to thank them for their support throughout the years. To find the full schedule, follow the link here.
  • The Community Clean-Up for the Wyoming State Parks Laramie District will be taking place on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Wyoming State Parks Laramie District will be participating in National Public Lands Day, with Community Clean-Up events taking place at Curt Gowdy State Park, the Historic Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site, and the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site.   • Come to the Eclectic Elephant on 112 W. 18th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to join in a paint-by-number mural event in honor of Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, Sept. 24.
  • The Laramie County Library at 2200 Pioneer Ave. will be celebrating its second annual Harvest Festival with fall-inspired games, crafts, and treats on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Get ready for Black Tooth Brewing Co.’s 3rd Annual Oktoberfest! Come and enjoy raffles, beer, and a good time at 520 W. 19th St. on Saturday, Sept. 24, from noon to 11 p.m.
  • Come to the Cheyenne Depot Museum and Gift Shop at 121 W. 15th St. for the Downtown Cheyenne Octoberfest. Enjoy a variety of beers that they will have to offer on Saturday, Sept. 24.
  • The City Creek Band will be performing at Black Tooth Brewing Co. on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. Enjoy their unique mix of country, rock, pop, and everything in between.
  • Get ready for your next adventure at Virtual SaturD&D at the Laramie County Library, 2200 Pioneer Ave., on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 1 to 3 p.m. To participate, you will need a phone, tablet, or computer with an internet connection and a Discord account.
