CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The band Third Eye Blind will be performing in Cheyenne on their “25 Years in the Blind” tour on Friday, April 7, 2023.
Tickets for the show at the Cheyenne Civic Center, 510 W. 20th St., go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16. Pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, according to a press release from the Cheyenne Civic Center.
“Twenty-five years of Third Eye Blind finds us feeling glorious, as if everything is coming into deeper focus,” Stephan Jenkins, frontman for Third Eye Blind, said in the release. “It’s not lost on us that this is a miracle, and that we are in it because of the new fans that keep discovering us and the people who, over the years, have made our music part of their culture.”
The tour is for Third Eye Blind’s latest albums “Our Bande Apart” from 2021 and “Unplugged” from 2022. A portion of proceeds from each ticket sold will benefit SeaTrees, an organization working to help restore ecosystems along the California coastline, according to the release. Each dollar raised on the band’s tour is being matched by entrepreneur Mark Pincus and his nonprofit Future Self.
“Thanks to the Third Eye Blind crew and everyone who came out to see them on their summer tour, we are able to restore another key section of California’s lost kelp forest ecosystem,” SeaTrees co-founder Michael Stewart said in the press release. “These critical marine areas provide habitat for over 700 species and help stabilize our climate.”
