CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne residents can join in various ceremonies throughout the city to honor those who have served in partnership with Wreaths Across America.
Wreaths Across America is a nationwide effort to honor those who have served during the holidays. Thousands of cities in the United States fundraise in order to place wreaths on the graves of military members.
There are several events happening on Saturday, Dec. 17 throughout the city:
- Cheyenne National Cemetery, 8611 Hildreth Road, at 10 a.m.
- Mount Olivet Cemetery, 801 E. Pershing Blvd., at 11 a.m.
- Beth El Cemetery, located at Seymour and Pershing, at 11 a.m.
- Cheyenne Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4701 Christensen Road, at noon
- Mountain View Memorial Park, 10701 Yellowstone Road, at 1 p.m.
