CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Laramie County School District 1 has announced that it will be closing school early due to inclement weather and has canceled all after-school activities.
Due to agency closures, continued snowfall, and unexpectedly increasing winds, the school began the process of early release. Buses began arriving at high schools and junior high schools at 11:45 a.m. and will arrive at elementary schools at 1 p.m. Parents can pick up students as available.
Staff will be present at the schools until all students are picked up. Lunch will be served as usual.
Due to the conditions, all after-school activities previously scheduled for today are canceled.
