CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Texas Roadhouse in Cheyenne is hosting a fundraiser on Tuesday, Feb. 7 to support the city’s Day of Giving.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the restaurant’s 1931 Bluegrass Circle location. Residents can purchase tickets ahead of time for $16 each and receive a lunch of BBQ pulled pork, corn, a Caesar salad and a roll, with a drink included for dine-in orders.

Deliveries are available for orders of five or more meals, and those who don’t want to eat in the restaurant can stop by and pick up their meals.

Tickets must be purchased by Jan. 27.

Day of Giving is a nonprofit led by Cheyenne congregations and supported by local businesses and community groups. The team lends financial assistance to 10 local agencies, and $8 of each ticket from the fundraiser will go toward helping Day of Giving’s clients.

Each year, the nonprofit also hosts a designated day for community members to help the sick and economically disadvantaged.

This year’s Day of Giving event will take place at Kiwanis Community House on May 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
