CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County Fair will include new festivities following action from County Commissioners during their regular meeting this afternoon.
The Laramie County Fair, which is Wyoming’s oldest and largest county fair, will take place Aug. 2–12 at the Archer Complex.
The following activities were approved on the commissioners’ consent agenda.
- Consideration of an agreement between Laramie County and Arts Events LLC, dba Wowzers, in the amount of $5,865 to provide airbrush art services at the Laramie County Fair.
- Consideration of an addendum between Laramie County and Colorado Event Productions in the amount of $12,431 to provide two Oculus setups for virtual reality games at the Laramie County Fair.
- Consideration of an addendum between Laramie County and Harmony Artists Inc. in the amount of $6,500 to provide Twinkle Time & Friends at the Laramie County Fair.
- Consideration of an addendum between Laramie County and The Party People LLC in the amount of $7,295 to provide entertainment services at the Laramie County Fair, including Disgo’s Rootin’ Tootin’ Wild West Comedy Magic Show.
Fair-related items have been on the commissioners’ consent agenda since May in preparation for the event.
