CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County Fair ended its two-week-long festivities with a demolition derby on Saturday, Aug. 12.
Hundreds of county residents filled the bleachers of the LG Drillings Motorsports Park at Archer Parkway to cheer on derby drivers and their cars.
During a demolition derby, five or more drivers deliberately ram their vehicles into one another. The last driver whose vehicle is still operational wins the heat.
This year’s derby was presented by Rocky Mountain Derby Productions and Breeze Thru Car Wash.
