CHEYENNE, Wyo. — One man is dead following an Aug. 24 motorcycle crash in Laramie County.
The incident took place around 9:12 p.m. near Burns at milepost 15.9 at 78 RD / Chalk Bluff Road / CR 203-1, according to a Wyoming Highway Patrol incident report.
The motorcycle was traveling on County Road 203 and exited the roadway to the left as it approached County Road 141. The motorcycle impacted a three-strand wire fence and came to rest in a field. The rider was found in the field separated from the motorcycle, the report states.
Glen Cox, 43, of Wyoming is listed as the driver and the deceased. A helmet was in use at the time of the crash, the report states. Speeding is listed as a possible contributing factor to the crash.
