CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Construction for a new sidewalk at the Archer Events Facility can now begin following action from Laramie County commissioners during their afternoon meeting.
The commissioners approved an agreement with Cheyenne-based contractor Recco Inc, doing business as Five-R Co., to construct an $18,000 sidewalk connecting the north side of the event center to the K Building and into the M and K parking lot.
The Archer Events Facility, which is located at the Laramie County Fairgrounds at 3801 Archer Parkway, offers event and meeting spaces for concerts, farm shows and expos. The K Building is a smaller venue located nearby that can fit up to 299 people at a time. Both facilities were most recently used in August for Laramie County Fair competitions and exhibitions.
