CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County Library System is partnering with the Braver Angels Alliance to host a panel exploring solutions to reduce racial/ethnic tensions in Laramie County.
The panel will take place on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. in the Cottonwood Room and will feature Cheyenne Mayor Patrick Collins, Chief of Police Mark Francisco, Judge Ronn Jeffrey, Pastor Stephen Latham and other important stakeholders from local faith communities, law enforcement agencies, businesses, nonprofits and government organizations, according to a press release.
The panel will encourage productive conversations centered around making Laramie County an inclusive, welcoming and diverse community. The goal of the event is to focus on solutions for reducing racial/ethnic tensions by incorporating ideas, feedback and goals from a wide array of community members and leaders, the release states. The Braver Angels Alliance will moderate a general discussion from panelists and a Q&A session involving attendees.
