CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The annual Christmas exhibit “Tinsel Through Time” at the Wyoming Historic Governors’ Mansion is hosting its opening reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 25.
The theme for this year’s holiday exhibit is “Holly Jolly Christmas,” according to a news release from spokesperson Gary Schoene with Wyoming State Parks & Cultural Resources. Rooms throughout the house will be decorated based on lyrics in the holiday song from which the theme is taken.
The reception will be free and open to the public. Refreshments and live entertainment will be provided.
After the reception concludes, the mansion will be open to the public until Dec. 23. Hours of operation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
Various events and programs will also take place in the mansion throughout December.
