Cheyenne East High to host third annual Holiday CTE sale

East High School, LCSD1, East Triad (Lisa Hushbeck/Cap City News)

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Career and Technical Education, or CTE, students at East High will be selling student-made items on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the school at 2800 E. Pershing Blvd.

Funds that are raised will go toward helping students with registration fees for national events, such as SkillsUSA and Family and Career and Community Leaders of America, according to a press release.

The items being sold were designed and created by students. Items sold in the past include a saw, a dessert tray, a fire pit, sculptures, tables, cutting boards, cornhole boards and more.

Students meet several CTE curriculum standards through the fabrication of these products. They also have the opportunity to showcase their skills to the public.
