CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A vehicle fire along Interstate 80 was quickly doused in the evening hours of April 1.
Laramie County Fire District No. 5 and the Pine Bluffs Police Department report that emergency crews were dispatched at 7:40 p.m. to mile marker 397 of I-80 for a vehicle fire. When they arrived, they saw the rear tires of an enclosed car hauler trailer on fire.
“The first arriving engine crew knocked the fire down before it extended into the trailer,” District No. 5 reported on social media.
There were no injuries.
Assisting with the fire was Laramie County Fire District No. 3. Pine Bluffs police, the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office and the Wyoming Highway Patrol provided traffic control.
