CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Wyoming Department of Transportation maintenance crews will soon start seasonal paving operations in several locations throughout Laramie County.

Work will begin Monday near Burns on Wyoming Highway 213 between mile markers 13.2 and 13.7 and between mile markers 12.3 and 13. After crews wrap up there, work will begin on WYO 214 between mile markers 4.4 and 5.9.

Other locations in Laramie County that maintenance crews plan to pave this year include:

  • Wyoming Highway 211 between mile markers 2.4 and 4.3
  • US Highway 30 at mile marker 3.07 and 4.73
  • Cheyenne maintenance yard

In a press release, WYDOT noted that the project list is not necessarily in order; crews may move between the locations based on weather conditions, material and equipment availability or other reasons.

Motorists are asked to stay especially vigilant if driving through any of the affected areas in the coming weeks. They can also expect potential delays due to lane closures, flaggers, reduced speeds or other traffic changes.

This paving project is expected to be complete in about one month. All project scheduling is subject to change.
