CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Craig Johnson, author of the Longmire book series, is visiting the Laramie County Library on June 15 for a reading of his latest novel, “First Frost.” The event is free and open to the public.

Visitors will get the chance to hear Craig Johnson read excerpts from his new book, followed by an audience Q&A and autograph session. Copies of “First Frost” will be available for purchase, courtesy of Barnes & Noble.

“The Laramie County Library System is always happy when we can offer fun and engaging events for our patrons,” said Jesse Dorst, the library’s community and media relations manager, in a news release. “It’s even better when we can partner with Wyoming authors. Craig Johnson is one of our favorites and we’re thrilled to welcome him back and celebrate his new novel.”

In “First Frost,” Walt Longmire faces a judge following the fatal events of “The Longmire Defense.” This chapter of the Longmire series takes place between 1964 and the present day.

Johnson will be at the library from 1 to 2:30 p.m. For more information regarding Craig Johnson’s visit, please reach out to Jesse Dorst at jdorst@lclsonline.org or 307-773-7224. To see additional information, click here.
