CHEYENNE, Wyo. — One of Cheyenne’s volunteer boards now has two new members, while two members have been reappointed.
On Monday night, the Cheyenne City Council approved the applications of Alane West and Brandon Gilchrest to join the Housing & Community Development Advisory Council. Community members Joseph Bainbridge and Justin Huntley, already members of the board, will continue their work with the nine-person council.
The council’s purpose is to be a liaison between the Housing and Community Development Office, residents and local nonprofits and “to provide input on very low, low, and moderate-income needs and other related community needs,” according to a city news release. In a release from July, the city stated it was accepting applications for the advisory council.
Cheyenne councilmembers also passed the reappointment request for Rita Meyer on the Revolving Loan Fund Committee.
